Pre-natal testing for women & men
Fertility is not just a “female consideration” — both women and men play equal roles in the journey to conception.
Understanding fertility begins with knowledge, and testing can provide valuable insights into reproductive health. For women, common assessments include hormone panels (FSH, LH, AMH, oestradiol, progesterone), thyroid function, and ovulation tracking through basal body temperature (BBT), cervical mucus observations, and ultrasound monitoring. Tools like at-home ovulation predictor kits and wearable devices are making cycle tracking even more accessible.
For men, a semen analysis is often the first and most informative test, evaluating sperm count, motility, morphology, and volume. Hormonal evaluations (testosterone, LH, FSH, prolactin), alongside assessments for infections, DNA fragmentation, and oxidative stress, can offer a deeper understanding of male fertility health.
Testing isn't about finding fault — it’s about gathering information to make empowered decisions. Many factors influencing fertility are modifiable through lifestyle, nutrition, stress management, and targeted medical or nutritional support.
Whether you're just beginning to think about conceiving or have been on the journey for some time, fertility testing offers a roadmap — shining light on potential challenges and opportunities for support.
Knowledge is empowering. When we understand our bodies, we can take proactive steps to support reproductive health — for both partners.

Nutritional testing for women.
To assess any nutritional deficiencies or excesses; and genetic mutations.

Other testing for women.
Cervical Screening Test
Cycle Tracking: Track the start and end dates of your period, the total days of your cycle, cervical mucus consistency, basal body temperature, LH strips and potential ovulation signs (libido increase, ovulation cramping (mittelschmerz)).
Ovarian Ultrasound: A pelvic ultrasound (trans-vaginal ultrasound) can be used to visualise the ovaries, assess follicle count, and detect any abnormalities like cysts or fibroids.
Testing for men.
To evaluate sperm count, motility, morphology and other characteristics; as well as determine any nutritional deficiencies, excesses and genetic mutations.
Semen analysis
Sperm DNA fragmentation & antibodies.
Blood tests: Testosterone, Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH), and Luteinising Hormone (LH), which are essential for sperm production; Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) & Thyroid function tests.
Genetic testing.
